Central Provident Fund Commissioner by exercising the powers conferred under para 36(7) read alongwith the provisions of para 34 and 57 of EPF Scheme, 1952 and para 24 of Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 has ordered the introduction of Composite Declaration Form (F-11) by replacing the existing New Form-11 and the same is enclosed as Annexure.
In exercise of powers conferred on Central Provident Fund Commissioner under paragraph 36(7) of Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, discontinuance of submission of Form No. 9 in physical form is hereby ordered in respect of all the members joining as well as the establishments being covered on or after 1st October, 2017. The Central Provident Fund Commissioner has approved a composite Pension Payment Order form (copy enclosed) replacing the existing Pension Payment Order. The Information Services Division has made requisite changes in the application Software to replace the existing Pension Payment Order with the revised Pension Payment Order.
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) should be followed for the process of settlement of claims. Anything that is not contained in the current SOP shall be governed by the existing Manual of Accounting Procedure (MAP). In case of any conflict between the SOP and the Manual of Accounting Procedure, this SOP shall be followed.

The work relating to the assessment of Productivity Linked Bonus for the year 2016-17 has been taken up. The Productive Linked Bonus (PLB) for the employees of EPFO is assessed on the basis of the productivity achieved and manpower used in respect of each Regional Office separately.
Composite Claim Form for Death cases has been reviewed and accordingly a revised Composite Claim Form for death cases, approved by CPFC, is attached herewith. This claim form shall come into force from the date of issue of this circular.
Cash Branch should ensure that generation and disbursal of EMIs in respect of the all claims under para 68-BD(4) of EPF Scheme, 1952 on the 1st working day of the month. The Cash Branch should also generate the forwarding letters for intimation for disbursal of EMIs to the lending agency as well as to the member, on the first working day of the month itself.
As per Head Office letters/circulars under reference, the procedure of change of date of birth has been elaborated and systematized and needs to be adhered to by the field offices. A member, having a systematically verified and linked Aadhaar with EPFO database will not be allowed to change date of birth again.
It is informed that Aadhaar No. would not be mandatory for International Workers as well as workers from Nepal and Bhutan. Further, submission of Aadhaar will be optional upto 30th September 2017 for those members who already have UAN prior to 1st July 2017 and has to go for re-registration.
