Canara Bank has invited online applications from eligible and interested Proprietary Concerns, Firms and LLPs for empanelment as Concurrent Auditors for conducting concurrent and continuous audit in 704 identified branches and units for the period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The bank has provided details relating to terms and conditions of appointment, fee structure, methodology for application and selection, audit conduct, reporting requirements, and performance review of appointed auditors. It has also made available annexures containing the format for letter of acceptance, undertaking letter, do’s and don’ts for selected auditors, and the list of 704 identified branches and units along with their addresses. Interested applicants who agree to the stated terms and conditions are required to submit their applications online on or before May 9, 2026, through the bank’s website. Applications submitted through any mode other than the online application system will not be accepted, and hard copies of applications or annexures should not be sent unless specifically called for by the bank. Applicants have been advised to read the guidelines and instructions carefully before logging in and keep relevant details such as UCN, firm registration details with RBI and ICAI, LLPIN, DPIN or DIN, PAN, GSTIN, contact details and email information ready before filling out the form. Q.1 Who is eligible to apply for empanelment as a Concurrent Auditor with Canara Bank?

Ans. Canara Bank has invited applications from eligible Proprietary Concerns, Partnership Firms, and LLPs for empanelment as Concurrent Auditors to conduct concurrent and continuous audits of 704 identified branches and units for the period 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027, subject to the eligibility criteria and terms prescribed by the Bank.

Q.2 What is the last date and mode for submitting the application?

Ans. Eligible applicants must submit their applications online only through the Canara Bank website on or before 9th May 2026. Applications submitted through any other mode, including hard copies, will not be accepted unless specifically requested by the Bank.

Q.3 What information should applicants keep ready before filing the online application?

Ans. Applicants should keep details such as the RBI-issued UCN, ICAI Firm Registration Number (FRN), LLPIN, DPIN/DIN, PAN, GSTIN, registration details with RBI and ICAI, contact information, and email addresses ready before starting the online application. The UCN and FRN are also used as login credentials for the application portal.

Q.4 What documents and conditions apply after selection as a Concurrent Auditor?

Ans. Selected auditors are required to submit the Letter of Acceptance, Undertaking Letter, and comply with the Do’s and Don’ts prescribed by the Bank after receiving the offer letter by email. The appointment is also subject to the Bank’s terms relating to audit conduct, reporting, fee structure, and performance review.

1. Online Application shall be made through Bank’s Web Site: www.canarabank.com.

2. Other modes (such as sending hard copy) is NOT accepted.

3. Use only Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11+ browsers for best results.

4. Please go through the guidelines, terms and conditions and other instructions, thoroughly, before logging into the package.

5. Keep all the information/data like, UCN, Firm registration number and date of registration with RBI/ICAI, LLPIN, DPIN/DIN, PAN of Proprietor/Firm, GSTIN (of Auditor / Main office/branch Office); Phone number; Mobile Number; STD code; Contact person details; Contact person email id; etc., ready before entering the application.

6. Please go through this material, get acquainted with the fields and then start entering the details against the relevant columns.

7. Ensure your UCN issued by RBI and FRN issued by ICAI are entered correctly. (Do not add 0000 as prefix).

8. To login to the ONLINE package, Firm UCN and FRN are the credentials.

9. While filling up mobile numbers, +91 or 0 need not be prefixed.

10. This online empanelment process is for concurrent/continuous audit of 704 branches/offices.

11. The online application format is lucid and self-explanatory. Yet, in case of assistance, the Planning Section, Inspection Wing may be contacted on working days of the Bank.

    When we are opining the Link for filing the Application then Link shows submission date is over but as per site we can file application till 12.06.2022. Please arrange to provide the Link for submission of application

    None of the links in taxguru article/news/message working. Retuning Server error 503.

    What if GST is not applicable to Firm as the turnover is less. As GST number column seems to be compulsory.
    Cant we empanel without GST registration ?
