Notification No. 51/2018-Customs (N.T.) Dated- 8th June, 2018- under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 notifying Surat airport as Customs airport for Unloading of baggage and the loading of baggage
1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Registrars to an Issue and Share Transfer Agents) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2018.
These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2018.
In order to improve the disposal rate in deciding cases falling under Chapter XIV, it has been decided that for cases where value of the goods liable for confiscation is above 10 lakhs, the adjudication powers shall be exercised as under:
Notification No. 50/2018-Customs (N.T.) CBIC hereby confers power, for purposes of adjudging confiscation or penalty, on Customs Officer as mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, in terms of value limit as specified in column (3) of the said Table, in relation to goods which are liable to confiscation under Chapter XIV of the said Act:
It has also come to notice that some offices have not complied the instructions of Head Office based on the Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated 04.10.2016 as referred above on revision of the pension on higher wages despite applications received in this regard, by taking the plea that reference has been made by those offices to Head Office and that reply has not been received for the clarifications / guidelines sought from Head Office.
Reserve Bank, with the objective of integrating the extant reporting structures of various types of foreign investment in India, will introduce a Single Master Form (SMF). The SMF would be filed online.
It has been decided to capture the details of the hedges for ECBs through a simplified format of ECB 2 Return. Part E of the Return, accordingly, is modified so as to include only standard information on hedged/unhedged ECB exposure (Annex).
Sale in DTA in respect of certain services classified under Heading 9988 and 9989 under GST is continued to be covered under para 6.08(a) of FTP.
It has been decided that the rate of interest payable by banks to the depositors/claimants on the unclaimed interest bearing deposit amount transferred to the Fund shall be 3.5% simple interest per annum with effect from July 01, 2018.
