My Suggestion w.r.t. TDS which is right now the mojor problem and headache for deductees, deductors and professionals are as under
1.TDS Return filing must be required to be filed annually and not quarterly.
2.There must be no requirement of making CD and giving it to TFCs. TDS returns should be allowed to be filed just like ITRs (income tax returns) directly through site.
3.There must be revolutionary enhancement in limits of TDS viz. in case of TDS on Interest, limit must be enhanced to at least 25000 from present ceiling of Rs. 5000 & 10000. Further, in case of commission, it must be 50000 instead of present ceiling of Rs. 5000. And so on…………
Impact:
1. Reduction in mistakes in filing TDS returns,
2. Lesser Cost to Assessee,
3. Concentration of Professional time towards their main work instead of clerical job.

This is with reference to yourcommunication CPC/0809/T13/91000009412 dated 14/10/2010 I am HR Anuradha, PAN No.ABSPA7628K. I am a salaried employee of a college.An objection has been raised in my income tax reyurn for the accounting year 2008-09 that I have to pay another additional amount of Rs 6488/- (Rs 5589 against 234 B interest and Rs 899 against 234C interest.
