    Hello Dear,

    I am above 60 years and still working in the company. Now the company needs to put me
    On a contract basis.

    Please clarify that is I am covered under the employees’ provident fund scheme or exempted from it.

    also advise on the liability of the company if I go for the contract.

    Hello,
    kindly clarify if EPF should be deducted from employee and contributed by the employer in case of contract employees. the employees here are engaged for 179 days, then given a break of one week and then continued. ESI contribution has been deducted since 2021. KINDLY clarify regarding PF. The employees should not be deprived because of this.
