In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin and authorises him to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.96/2006-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated the 5th September, 2006.
Circular No. 12/2006-Income Tax The Central Board of Direct Taxes, vide Notification S.O. No. 1163(E), dated 24-7-2006, inter alia, notified a new return from (Form No. 1) for companies for assessment year 2006-07.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Paragraph 3 of Notification No.15(RE-2006)/2004-2009 dated 27.06.2006.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures.
(i) for tariff items 540701, 540702,540703,540704,540705 and 540706 and the entries relating thereto, the following tariff items and the entries shall be substituted
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 75 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), sub-section (2A) of section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and sub-section 3 of section 94 of the Finance Act,1994.
The principal notification No. 36/2005-CUSTOMS (N.T.) was published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R.267(E), dated the 2nd May, 2005 and was last amended vide notification No.102/2005- Customs (N.T.), dated the 18th November, 2005 vide number G.S.R. 675(E), dated the 18th November, 2005.
Consequent upon the above amendment in Paragraph 2.21.1(d), in the heading of Appendix 4-B of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume I, 2004-09 the words “Bangkok Agreement” stands replaced by “Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement.
All desirous importers of these items may make their application for imports to Exim Facilitation Committee in the Aayaat Niryaat Form of the Handbook of Procedures in the Office of Director General of Foreign Trade, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi 110011. The application fee for these applications shall be paid according to the procedure contained in Appendix 21B of Handbook of Procedures Vol.I 2004-09.
