The following changes has been made in the Para 2 (2) of the said Policy Circular as under. Import consignments of industrial product i.e. transmission belts/ pressure belts, lining material for manufacture of luggage goods which do not come into direct contact with the human body.

New Customs House, Mumbai, to act as Commissioner of Customs (General), Mumbai for imports cleared through Container Freight Station, Mulund and Commissioner of Customs (Import).
Import of hazardous chemicals permitted without a licence in accordance with the provisions of the Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules 1986 (made under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986). Besides other conditions mentioned in the Rules, the importer shall, before 30 days but not later than the date of import, furnish the details specified in Rule 18 to the authority specified in Schedule 5 of the said Rules.
