The A.P. Tax Bar Association, Vijayawada has made a representation Representation regarding extension of date of filing Form GSTR 9 and 9C for year 2018-19 till March 2021. Full Text of their representation is as follows:-

Respected Madam,

Sub:-Representation regarding date of filing of extension of Form GSTR 9 and 9C for year 2018-19–Reg.

Under your encomius leadership and the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, we are seeing a new dawn and progress in all the matters of the country which none of the citizens who love India has seen ever before.

Madam, we are very grateful to your goodselves for extending the dates for filing the annual returns under the GST Act 2017.

Madam, your goodselves have extended time for filing of the Form 9 & 9C returns under GST Act for the year 2019-20 till March 2021 but you  have not considered our plea for extension of the annual returns to be filed under Form 9 & 9C for the year 2018-19.

Madam, as Corona is prevailing across the Globe has taken new color some of the companies as well as professionals are not able to file the returns. The systems are also not properly responding while filing the returns.

Madam, we humbly request you to kindly consider our plea to extend the filing of GSTR Forms 9 & 9C returns for 2018-19 till March 2021 which would be a great boom to the practitioners and the tax payers and such extension would not cause any financial impact or implications.

Hope that you will consider our request in a positive way and in a sympathetic manner

    Really Amnesty Scheme Under GST is not Extending is really, not good in humanity manner
    Till To Day we are suffering under Heavy Threat of Korona Government Knows very well. It is next to pathetic not announces EXTENTION of GST Amnesty

    Kindly ask for waiver of all penalties due to covid sufferings to all general public. Of 130 crore people in India, only 7 to 8 corore people are Incometax assessees. So on the goodself, Govt may waive off all penalties or may impose a consolidated monthly penlaty like Rs.500 or Rs.1000 per month. Many GST RCs cancelled due to non filings. From 01-01-2021 some RC cancellation proceedings are started for fruadlent filings persons RCs. So it is hard to do business by genuine GST taxpayers who are under nonf-filers list. Govt must consider on human being welfare these kindness to the genuine taxpayers to get hope.
