A. P. Tax Bar Association, Vijayawada has made a representation to Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman, Hon’ble Finance Minister and requested her for extending the time limit for filing GSTR 9 and 9C returns as also the Income Tax returns for the assessment years 2020-21 which would be beneficial to both individuals, firms and companies and also to the professionals. Relevant text of their representation is as follows:-

Respected Madam,
Under your encomius leadership and the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, we are seeing a new dawn and progress in all the matters of the country which none of the citizens who love India has seen ever before.
Madam, as you know that the COVID 19 Pandemic is growing steadily and very recently it has changed its form and has became more vibrant serious and we are able to see such results in England which likely to spread to all the countries if no proper precaution is taken in time.
Madam, as our country has been effected with COVID-19 to a larger extent and at the same time our country has shown more recovery rate compared to other countries, we are very happy for the achievement that is shown by our Hon’ble Prime Minister.
We take this opportunity in expressing our gratitude in making necessary and suitable arrangements in Form 9 and 9C and request you to extend the time limit for filing Form 9 and 9C returns in GST which are annual returns which are to be filed before 31-12-2020, though the time limit for the year 2018 -19 has been extended and we are grateful enough for the compassion shown, as maximum of dealers are not able to file the returns because of the pandemic and technical glitches, we request you to kindly extend the time limit for both 2018-19 and 2019-20 keeping the problems that are faced by the individuals, firms and also companies till June 2021.
We also take this opportunity to request for extension of the time limit for filing the returns under Income Tax for the assessment year 2021-21 as the Pandemic is growing stead fast and is effecting the lot of citizens across the Globe.
Madam, we wish that under the magnificent and efficacious leadership of Sri. Narendra Modiji , our country will become first ever country to introduce the vaccine and give life to the human race and also other species effected with Corona Virus.
We hope that the Pandemic will vanish from the Globe vey soon and the normal life will come back.
We pray your goodselves to grant us boon by extending the time limit for filing GSTR 9 and 9C returns as also the Income Tax returns for the assessment years 2020-21 which would be beneficial to both individuals, firms and companies and also to the professionals.

काश के एमनेस्टी पर भी विचार कर लिया जाय तो हम लूट जाने से बच जाएंगे
उम्मीदों का दामन अब भी पकड़े रखा हूँ, हमारी सरकार हमारा दर्द जरूर समझेगी
जिद के आगे हर निवेदन हार गई, हम भी तो इंसान ही हैं काश हम भी सत्ता में होते तो शीत कालीन सत्र और कोरोना को कभी एक साथ नही जोड़ते,
शायद वो दर्द जानकर कुछ दुआ ही देदे
IN spite of representations , CBDT , CBIC , has turned a deaf ear to tax payer representations , which includes various stake holders . Tomorrow , there is legation for hearing for postponement should be a boon to CA, Tax advocates , Tax Consultants and CFOS , tax heads .IN spite of pandemic and representation , it is deaf ear .
feeling ashamed of these repetative requests before these inhuman administrators. Forget about professionals and asessees problems. At least they are not prepared to accept their inability to run the servers properly. Various kinds of server problems like appearing suddenly website not found, sending otps at their own time , no access to download 26 AS, login problems and so many. Every year our life becoming miserable because of these conditions. Inspite of facing all these problems i pray God to give them some soft corner about the public because of whose mercy they are sitting in the positions and ruling the country.
IT’S TOO LATE.GOVT HAS NOT RESPONDED TILL NOW. EACH AND EVERY PROFESSIONAL FACING PROBLEMS, SUCH AS
DSC NOT WORKING,
UDINS NOT GENERATED,
IT SITE PROBLEMS,
INTERE NET PROBLEMS,
NOT HAVING SUFFICIENT OFFICE STAFF,
CLIENT NOT AVAILABLE IN TIME.
BANKS SITE NOT WORKING.
EACH AND EVERY PROFESSIONAL ESPECIALLY SENIORS ARE AFRAID OF CORONA. AND ALSO OFFICE STAFF AND CLIENTS TOO.
ALL TYPE RETURNS DATE SHOULD BE EXTEND UP TO 31.03.2020.
