Notification No. 03(RE-2004) issued under the Foreign Trade Policy, effective from 1st September 2004, regarding the ITC(HS) classification of export/import items.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby notifies Schedule 2 (Export Policy) of the “ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items.

The Policy shall come into force from 1st September, 2004.
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies the Handbook of Procedures (Volume 1) as contained in Annexure to this Public Notice and the Appendices to the Handbook of Procedures (Volume 1) as available on the website of Directorate General of Foreign Trade at http://dgft.delhi.nic.in. These shall come into force from 1st September, 2004.
