In continuation of Public Notice No. 31/2015-20 dated 01/12/2020, Kamarajar Port is enlisted as a designated port for import of unshredded metallic scrap and waste.
The following Officers are hereby designated as Central Public Information Officers (CPIOs) in IRDAI in terms of Section 5(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 to discharge functions assigned under the Act:
IRDAI appoints Shri Randip Singh Jagpal, Chief General Manager as the ‘Appellate Authority’ to discharge the functions assigned under Right to lnformation Act, 2005 with immediate effect. This will be in addition to his normal duties.
The extension granted by Hon’ble Supreme Court order applies only to quasi-judicial and judicial matters relating to petitions/ application suits/ appeal all other proceedings. All other proceedings should be understood in the nature of the earlier used expressions but can be quasi-judicial proceedings. Hon’ble Supreme Court has stepped into to grant extensions only with reference to judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings in the nature of appeal suit petitions etc. and has not extended it to every action or proceeding under the CGST Act.
