India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for April 2025 totaled ₹2,36,716 crore, showing a 12.6% increase compared to ₹2,10,267 crore in April 2024. This includes ₹48,634 crore in Central GST (CGST), ₹59,372 crore in State GST (SGST), ₹1,15,259 crore in Integrated GST (IGST), and ₹13,451 crore in Cess. After accounting for refunds amounting to ₹27,341 crore, the net GST revenue stood at ₹2,09,376 crore, a 9.1% rise from the previous year. Domestic revenue contributed ₹1,89,803 crore (10.7% growth), while import revenue reached ₹46,913 crore (20.8% growth). State-wise data reveals varied growth rates, with Arunachal Pradesh recording the highest increase at 66% and Mizoram experiencing a decline of 28%. Maharashtra had the highest collection at ₹41,645 crore, and Lakshadweep the lowest at ₹5 crore.
