The Board of Studies (Academic) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals, academicians, and subject experts for empanelment as Resource Persons, Faculty Members, and Experts for its Live Virtual Classes (LVC) conducted for CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final students. The initiative aims to strengthen the academic ecosystem serving approximately 11.5 lakh aspiring Chartered Accountants through study materials, virtual learning, and mentoring. Eligible candidates must possess the prescribed professional or academic qualifications along with relevant teaching or work experience ranging from three years for Foundation-level subjects, four years for Intermediate-level subjects, and five years for Final-level subjects. ICAI has also indicated that advanced qualifications such as a Ph.D., strong communication abilities, industry exposure, interpersonal skills, and technological proficiency will be advantageous. Interested applicants must submit their EOI by 24 June 2026. Applicants from the 2025 EOI cycle are ineligible due to a mandatory one-cycle cooling-off period.

Requirements for Empanelment for faculty for Live Virtual Classes (LVC)
1. Minimum Qualification: The details of various courses, minimum qualification as well as teaching experience required for empanelled faculty for each course is given in Annexures I. While different levels require varying years of post-qualification experience, a minimum of three years’ experience is required to meet the basic eligibility criteria.
2. Advanced Degrees: A Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Communication, Law or a related discipline would be an added advantage.
3. Communication Skills: (a) Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written; (b) Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and understandable manner.
4. Industry Experience: (a) Practical experience and a strong background in the industry related to the skill being taught; (b) Knowledge of real-world application and industry trends will be an added advantage.
5. Facilitation and interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment.
6. Technological Proficiency: (a) Familiarity with relevant technologies to enhance learning experience and (b) Capability to integrate technology into skill development activities.
