The Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI), a Government Company licensed under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 has been incorporated for the purpose of operating and maintaining the Central Registry under the provisions of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act)
Notification No. 40 /2011 – Customs In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table,
In exercise of the powers conferred by article 150 of the Constitution of India, the President of India, on the advice of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, hereby makes the following accounting standards, namely, – Indian Government Accounting Standards (IGAS)2,- Accounting and Classification of Grants- In- Aid.
Advances classified as sub-standard will attract a provision of 15 per cent as against the existing 10 per cent. The “unsecured exposures” classified as sub-standard assets will attract an additional provision of 10 per cent, i.e., a total of 25 per cent as against the existing 20 per cent. However, “unsecured exposures” in respect of Infrastructure loan accounts classified as sub-standard, in case of which certain safeguards such as escrow accounts are available as indicated in our circular DBOD.No.BP.BC.96/08.12.014/2009-10 dated April 23, 2010, will attract an additional provision of 5 per cent only i.e. a total of 20 per cent as against the existing 15 per cent. Export of canned meat products shall be subject to preshipment inspection either by the State Directorate of Animal Husbandry or Export Inspection Agency or Directorate of Marketing and Inspection Government of India or Municipal Corporation of Delhi(MCD) in accordance with either the standards prevalent in the exporting country or standards prescribed under the Meat Food Products Order, 1973.
Notification No 47 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 – Earlier, consignments of Guar gum when exported to EU were allowed presence of upto 0.01 mg/Kg. of Penta Chlorophenol (PCP). Now, export of Guar gum to EU would be allowed only if it does not contain Penta Chlorophenol (PCP) in any proportion.
The phrase Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 600 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time as appearing in para 2(b) of Notification No 36(RE – 2010)/2009-2014 dated 23.03.2011 for the item described at Serial Number 44.02 is replaced by the phrase Minimum Export Price(MEP) of US$ 350 per Metric Ton F.O.B. or as notified by DGFT from time-to-time.
Consequent upon the enhancement in gratuity limits following the amendment to Payment of Gratuity Act 1972, RRBs have approached us for the amortisation of the enhanced expenditure resulting therefrom. The additional liability on account of enhancement in gratuity limits should be fully recognised and charged to Profit and Loss Account for the financial year 2010-11.
