Chief Commissioners of Customs and Central Excise are, therefore, requested to issue necessary instructions to the field formations to ensure that the Bonds are properly signed and executed keeping in view the aforesaid observations.

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09.
The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India vide notification No. 4/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 1st March, 2002, vide GSR 143 (E) dated the 1 st March, 2002, and were last amended vide notification No.30/2006-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 30th December, 2006, vide GSR 780(E) dated the 30th December, 2006.
Circular No.14-T of 2007, Mumbai,dt.08.02.2007 This office had earlier issued above referred two Circulars for grant of provisional refund. The refund under these Circulars is admissible to those dealers who have filed return for any earlier period on or before 31.12.2006.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of Section 129A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby constitutes a Committee consisting of two Chief Commissioners of Customs mentioned in column (1) of the table below, for the areas falling within the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication) in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said table, for the purpose of sub-section (1) of section 129 D of the said Act, 1962.
