Establishment of Connectivity with both depositories NSDL and CDSL – Companies eligible for shifting from Trade for Trade Segment (TFTS) to Rolling Segment
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in FTP, 2004-2009 (RE2006) & FTP (RE2007).
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5, read alongwith Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and alongwith paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09.
CIRCULAR NO. 9/2007-Income Tax In terms of the provisions of Chapter XII-H of the Income-tax Act (hereinafter referred to as Act), an employer, being a company, is liable to pay Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) in respect of the fringe benefits provided or deemed to have been provided by it to its employees, directly or indirectly, during the previous year.
A suitable Public Notice and Standing Order may be issued for the guidance of the trade and staff. Difficulties faced, if any in implementation of the Circular may be brought to the notice of the Board at an early date.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the said Act and in pursuance of rule 23 of the said rules, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance and Company Affairs (Department of Revenue), No.142/2003-Customs, dated the 23rd September, 2003, published in the Gazette of India vide number G.S.R.759 (E), dated the 23rd September, 2003, namely.
communicate to SEBI, the status of the implementation of the provisions of this circular in the Monthly Development Report.
NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 2127(E), DATED 13-12-2007 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (xxi) of sub-section (2 ) of section 80C of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme, further to amend the Bank Term Deposit Scheme, 2006, namely :– 1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Bank Term Deposit (Amendment) Scheme, 2007. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
(a) Paper Books must be legibly written or type-written in double space of printed. (b) Each paper filed should be certified as true copy by the party filing the same, or by his authorized representative. (c) Each paper should be indexed in such a manner as to give the brief description of the relevance of the document, with page numbers stating the authority before whom it was filed. (d) Xerox copy of a document should be legible.
It is further clarified that under the TPS the exporter can import, within the entitlement, items in quantities in excess of that mentioned in SION or other items in the product group provided that, in either case, they form ‘inputs’ and are ‘used’ by him.
