Amendment to the SEBI (Issue and listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008 to provide for Consolidation and Re-issuance of debt securities in the Corporate Bond Market and Call and Put Options.
The regulatory framework for Institutional Trading Platform (ITP) was put in place vide amendments notified to SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 (ICDR Regulations) on August 14, 2015. Various enabling amendments to other SEBI regulations i.e. on Takeover, Listing, Delisting and AIF were also notified.
Now, the Companies which have securities listed on the Designated Stock Exchange i.e. NSE & BSE shall have to make certain disclosures and Compliances under the (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Therefore, I have prepared a Checklist on the Compliances which needs to be complied under these regulations.
SEBI REIT Regulations were notified on 26th September, 2014, thereby providing a regulatory framework for registration and regulation of REITs in India. The regulations, inter alia, prescribe conditions for making a public offer, initial and continuous disclosures, investment conditions, unit-holder approval requirements, related party disclosures, etc.
SEBI had notified SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (Listing Regulations) on September 2, 2015. A time period of ninety days had been given for implementing the Regulations. However, two provisions of the regulations, which are facilitating in nature, were applicable with immediate effect i.e. w.e.f September 2, 2015.
