Public Notice No. 11(RE-99) updates DEPB rates for electronics and engineering exports, and introduces new export product certification requirements.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulalation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) and in supersession of Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 145(E) dated 24th February, 1998 published in the Gazette of India(Extraordinary) Part-II section 3, sub-section (ii), except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorises the officers specified in column (2) of the Table below for the purposes of exercising powers under section 13 read with section 11, subject to the limits specified against such officers in the corresponding entry in column 3 of the said Table, namely.
Exporters eligible for green card in terms of paragraph 4.23 and 14.4 of the Policy may apply for the same in the application form given in Appendix- 56. Such application shall be filed with Regional Licensing Authorities under whose jurisdiction the Head office/Registered Office of the firm/company is located. The green card holders shall be eligible for issuance of automatic licence in terms of paragraph 4.26. They shall also be eligible for other benefits as may be announced from time to time.

Food-stuffs, medicines, clothing and blankets received by any charitable organisation, registered with Ministry of Welfare and Ministry of Home Affairs under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, as a gift from any philanthropic organisation or person abroad, for free distribution either by itself or other charitable organisations to the poor and needy without any distinction of caste, creed or colour.
