THE DIRECTIONS OF THE HIGH COURTS ARE CLEAR. BY DELAYING THE NOTIFICATION, THE CBDT IS ONLY REAFFIRMING ITS ARROGANT STAND. THE BUREAUCRACY IS UNABLE TO ACCEPT DEFEAT. SUCH IS THEIR SHORT SIGHTED APPROACH. LET THEM COME BACK TO US AFTER THIS AND SEEK OUR COOPERATION IN ACHIEVING THEIR TARGETS OF COLLECTION, MAKING NEW ASSESSEES etc.

      • girish says:

order u/s 119 has been received. relaxation in filing returns only for assessees in the states covered under P&H high Courts of P&H and GUJARAT. the above subject to outcome of SLP which department mat file in SUPREME COURT. GOOD JOB CBDT!!!!!!!!! DIVIDE THE COUNTRY NOW!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A ADMANT ATTITUDE OF CBDT CHAIR PERSON, SHE IS IGNORING THE ORDERS OF HIGH COURT. MAKING IT AS A PRESTIGE ISSUE. WHO WILL TELL HER THAT FOR HER ATTITUDE TAX PROFESSIONALS & TAX PAYERS ARE AT LOSS OF HEALTH & WEALTH.

    • PANKAJ KUMAR says:

Had any appellant had filed any caveat in the H’ble Supreme Court for having being heard before any injunction or stay petition to be filed by the CBDT against the orders of Gujarat High Court as a precautionary measure.

  5. PIYUSH PANDYA says:

PLS EXTEND TIME LIMIT FOR A Y 15 16 AUDIT.

IF IT IS NOT POSSIBLE ITS MEAN IT IS NOT GOOD GOVERNANCE

  6. Vivek says:

    Any update please.

  7. CJS says:

Why CBDT is behaving in such manner. It is govenment authority created to serve the Public but they are creating only hardship to civilians. This not a way to collect the TAx. If tax collection is only target then they would have extended the date by saying 234A interest would be levied. Only Extension is solution for this action. Responsible officials should be punished . Responsible officers who had released the form delayed must be punished… Panelty should be always two ways… Only consultants or Assessee should not be pusnished all times…

  8. Sunil Jaithwar says:

Gujarat High court has kept the judgement pending on the request of the counsel of respondent. Is Court right in doing so ? The High Court could have either rejected or allowed the extension why keep people in dark ? Something positive cooking?

  15. NAND KISHORE SINGH, Advocate, Patna High Court. says:

In view of delayed publication of statutory forms the govt. ought to have extended the date for filing e-returns however still there is warrant for extending date suitably. CBDT may kindly extend the date at least by one month if not more. Such matter ought to have been taken up by CBDT without and before compelling the citizens to rush to the court.
