In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “The Muncherjee Nowrojee Banajee Industrial Home for the Blind, Bombay” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “Amalgamated Tamil Nadu Shares of Post-war Services Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Ex-servicemen Fund” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation, Calcutta” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1984-85 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “Tamil Nadu Ex-services Personnel Benevolent Fund, Madras” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “Helpage India” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1984-85 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (v) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “William Carey Study and Research Centre, Calcutta” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (v) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby correct the name of temple in its Notification No. 6515, dated 29-11-1985.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies “Servants of India Society, Pune” for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
Circular : No. 455-Income Tax The Finance Bill, 1986 has proposed that no proceedings shall be initiated under section 269C in respect of a property transferred after 30-9-1986. The Bill also proposes to insert Chapter XXC providing for purchase by Central Government of immovable properties in certain cases of transfer.
That the said Institute will submit to the prescribed authority by 30th June, each year, copy of their audited annual accounts showing their total income and expenditure and balance-sheet showing its assets and liabilities with a copy of each of these documents to the concerned Commissioner of Income-tax.
