No. 2/2015-NARCOTICS CONTROL-I G.S.R. 784(E).—In pursuance of rule 5 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, the Central Government hereby notifies the tracts in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh specified in the Table below as the tracts within which poppy may be cultivated on account of the Central Government during the opium crop year commencing on the 1st day of October, 2015 and ending on the 30th September, 2016.
During a meeting held on 15.07.2015 with the Board and the NFIR on the subject mentioned above. the Federation pointed out that railway quarters which are unfit for occupation or in a dilapidated condition are being allotted by the railway administration in the Zonal Railways/Units and thereby the affected railway employees are being denied HRA. The Federation further requested that necessary instructions may be issued in this regard.

The Committee, further reiterating its earlier recommendation, desire that a system of fixing responsibility for serious lapses be put in place by all Ministries.
