Sub-Request to extend the phase wise dates of Amnesty Scheme 2021.
Respected Sir,
Our Association expresses the gratitude for successful launching and execution of amnesty scheme-2021. This scheme is really a wonderful and result oriented as well beneficial to the trade. Sir, although the scheme was launched vide notification dated 24/02/2021 but the expedition was got started after second week of March 2021 due to technical updating of your portal. In the meanwhile the second wave of spreading of Covid-19 started and gradually taken a frightening shape in Rajasthan. Many of the tax payers and tax professionals or their family members were in the grip of the pandemic. Ultimately the government has to appraisingly impose the lockdown from 17/04/2021 in the state which was continued with maximum restrictions till 08/06/2021 and still with some exemptions. Due to the fact most of the dealers could not file their applications to avail the benefits of the Scheme.Looking to these conditions of the pandemics in all over the country Honorable Apex Court has also issued the directions for limitation of the proceeding on 27/04/2021 which are binding up on all the Judicial/quashi judicial and all other authorities in India.Now in the light of above conditions and the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, your good self are requested to kindly extend the dates of the phase wise dates as under-
For 1st Phase From 31/03/2021 to 31/07/2021
For 2nd phase from 30/06/2021 to 30/09/2021
For 3rd phase From 30/09/2021 to 31/03/2022
Sir, the professionals and the tax payers have started their offices after 08/06/2021 and they are overburdened with the pending compliances of GST for the months of March to May 2021 and also have the challenge to restore their business activities. Hence we humbly request that it will be expedient in the interest of public as well in the interest of revenue collection to extend the above dates.
