PUBLIC NOTICE. 72 (RE-06)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED 28TH NOVEMBER, 2006

S.O.(E) – In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby prescribes the following procedures to be followed for export of Pulses to Sri Lanka as notified by Notification No.37(RE-06)/2004-2009 dated 27.11.2006 :-

(i) Quantity allowed for export is restricted to 2000 MT of Masoor Dal and 200 MT of Green Gram; and

(ii) The export shall be permitted only from Pondicherry Port in India to Point Pedro Port in Sri Lanka.

2. This issues in Public Interest.
