ORDER NO. 2/2012, Service Tax (Removal of Difficulties) Second Order, 2012 – Insertion of Explanation to section 66B of the Finance Act, 1994 Whereas difficulties have arisen in giving effect to the provisions of section 143 of the Finance Act, 2012 (23 of 2012), in so far as it relates to insertion of section 66B in Chapter V of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994);
The following transfer and postings in the cadre of Addl./Joint Director of income-tax under various Directorates of International Taxation and Transfer Pricing are hereby ordered with immediate effect and until further orders:.
Vide Order No. 131 dated 26.06.2012 the CBDT has transferred and posted several officers in the grade of Additional/ Joint Commissioners of Income-tax with immediate effect.
Section 285 of Income-tax Act and Rule 114DA of Income-tax Rules read with Circular No. 5 of 2012, dated 6-2-2012, prescribes that a specified categories of assessees having a (Liaison Office in India shall electronically file Form 49C, within 60 days from the end of financial year. The due date for filing Form 49C for the financial year 2011-12 was prescribed as 30th May, 2012.
