Vide Order No. 105 of 2012 dated 6.6.2012, the CBDT has transferred & posted several officers in the Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA) Team in the office of the DGIT (International Taxation) with immediate effect.
ORDER NO. 104 OF 2012 – The following transfers/postings in the grade of Additional/Joint/Deputy/Assistant Commissioners of Income Tax, is hereby ordered with immediate effect and until further orders:
In partial modification of this office order of even number dated 11th May, 2012; and upon consultations of the collegium of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal consisting of the President and two senior-most Vice Presidents, the transfer of Ms. Sushma Chowla, Judicial Member, Chandigarh Benches to Pune Benches is cancelled in public interest. Ms. Sushma Chowla, Judicial Member will continue to function from Chandigarh Benches.

Vide Order No. 83 of 2012 dated 8.5.2012, the CBDT has transferred and posted several Assistant Commissioners of Income-tax with immediate effect.
The Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT, has constituted an advisory group for International Taxation and Transfer Pricing. The 13 members group will be headed by Revenue Secretary. A Finance ministry release says, the others members of the group include Chairman of CBDT, Director General of Income-tax , Joint Secretary of Department of Revenue, and representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.
In order to ensure that ‗per second billing‘ remains an assured alternative option for all subscribers, it has been decided to mandate that all service providers shall offer at least one pre-paid and one post-paid tariff plan with the pulse rate of one second for local and national long distance calls. The service providers will be at liberty to offer alternative tariff plans with any pulse rate within the overall ceiling of 25 tariff plans.
