This Concept Paper on National Corporate Governance Policy, 2012 prepared by ICSI is aimed at laying down an overarching policy framework for promoting good governance practices amongst corporates by instilling principles of good governance in the various statutes, regulations and policies of the Government as applicable to corporates.
What is this Unit scheme? A candidate who has passed one of the groups of a) Intermediate Examination under the syllabus as specified in paragraph 2A of Schedule B of Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988 ( i.e. Nov. 1994 or later) or b) Professional Education (Examination II) and desirous of pursuing the CA course shall necessarily be required to convert to Integrated Professional Competence Course(IPCC) stream of education, training and examination, (since exams under Intermediate and PE II courses have been discontinued) and appear in the IPCE Unit Scheme of Examination, in order to complete IPCE.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has clarified that Circular No. 19 and 20 of 2011 issued on 02.05.2011 that were issued for laying down certain procedure to regulate cases wherein filing of conflicting returns with regard to appointment of Directors or change of Director/Directors have now been superseded. This has been done in the light of some specific cases wherein it appears that either there was lack of consent of the removed/changed director or due process of Law were not followed.

The Union Finance Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee said that setting up of Infrastructure Debt Fund through public private partnership would meet the long term need of infrastructure sector funding. The Finance Minister Shri Mukherjee said that he is confident that the establishment of Infrastructure Debt Fund through PPP model would be a guiding principle for our future activities. The Finance Minister said that funs to the tune of 1Trillion US$ would be required for Infrastructure Sector Funding in next five years, out of which 50 percent would come from private sector through PPP model.

The Union Budget 2012-13 date is out. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will address Parliament on March 16, a minister said on Tuesday. Parliamentary affairs minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said the Budget session of Parliament will start on March 12, with the Railway Budget slated to be presented on March 14.
