A new Bond & Bank Guarantee Module (BBM) is being introduced with effect from 10.10.2017 for monitoring & management of Bonds & Bank Guarantees (BGs) required to be furnished by importers / exporters / any other person in compliance to various provisions of Customs Act, 1962. The following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is hereby prescribed for Departmental Officers for dealing with such Bonds & BGs in the newly launched BBM Module for effective monitoring of Bonds & BGs.

Attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade, Port Terminal Operator, Shipping Lines / Shipping Agents, CFSs coming under the jurisdiction of JNCH, Nhava Sheva and all other stakeholders is invited to the Public Notice No 182/2016, dated 23.12.2016, 23/2017, dated 01.03.2017, 41/2017, dated 24.03.2017, 111/2017 dated 29.08.2017 and various other decisions communicated through Standing Orders / Public Notices issued from time in relation to Direct Port Delivery.
Any request for amendment in shipping bill after LEO and before shipment of the goods shall be processed by Docks officers as per the guidelines given in Para 2 A.A and 2A.2 of the aforesaid Public Notice No. 88/2017 dated 05.07.2017.

In order to avail the IGST refund, it is mandatory that the exporters have validated their bank accounts by Public Financial Management System (PFMS). If bank accounts of the exporters are closed and/or not validated by PFMS, then the IGST refund, even if sanctioned, may not get credited to the accounts of the exporters.
Attention of the Exporters, Custom Brokers and all concerned are invited to the Board Circular No. 26/2017- Customs dated 1st July, 2017, 36/2017- Customs dated 28 August, 2017 and 37/2017- Customs dated 20th September, 2017 on the above mentioned subject prescribing norms for grant of Self Sealing Permission to the exporters intending for factory/warehouse stuffing of export goods.
In addition to the existing STEs, M/s I and M/s NFL are permitted to import urea only for three months with effect from the date of this notification.
