ICAI Releases Draft Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel 2024-25
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the Draft Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel (MEF) for the year 2024-25, prepared in accordance with RBI norms dated March 6, 2023. The draft panel is available on the official website, www.meficai.org, and can be accessed by applicants using their MEF No., FRN, or MRN (for individuals). The panel provides details such as applicant name, unique code number, category, district, and any reasons for ineligibility. Additionally, applicants can view explanations for any changes in their assigned category.
For concerns or discrepancies, applicants may submit queries through https://app.meficai.org/complaints or contact designated officials via phone. The draft panel will remain available until February 5, 2025. After reviewing and addressing all queries, ICAI will finalize the panel and submit it to the Reserve Bank of India for further consideration.
