On March 16, 2016, a Bill to further amend the Companies Act, 2013 was introduced in the Lok Sabha (Upper House of the Parliament) to address the difficulties raised by various stakeholders and to improve the ease of doing business in India. The right to information is implicitly guaranteed by the Constitution. The Customs SWIFT enables importers/exporters to file a common electronic ‘Integrated Declaration’ on the ICEGATE portal.
