CA Sudhir Halakhandi The date of obtaining and furnishing of tax audit report u/s 44AB has been extended from 30th Sept. 2014 to 30th Nov. 2014 and while issuing the orders under section 119 the Central Board of Direct Taxes has created one more confusion which is related to the extension of date of ITR.

CA Sudhir Halakhandi – The utility of 3CD/3CB, even after correction made in it , is not a user friendly utility and we have already indicated some of the mistakes in it. Some more mistakes were noticed by other experts and chartered accountants and the same were reported at various places in workshops and seminars related to this new feature which has been added to the work of chartered accountants.
CA SUDHIR HALAKHANDI The utility for uploading Audit report under section 44AB in Form 3CB/3CD is changed on the department’s site within a period of less than one month from its first introduction. In this article we are not very critical about this re-introduction of the utility because the utility given by them this time is much better than the earlier one and it includes some important suggestions given by the professional fraternity after using the previous utility.
