I left the services in a Private concern at the end of August 2014 and thereafter not worked till date. I have a self occupied Flat, which is under housing loan scheme. After my separation, I have Paid Housing Loan, LIC, Medical Insurance School Education Fee and other payments which are eligible for IT Exemption. I received Gratuity of around 1.5 lakhs in the FY 2014-15. I surrendered my Mutual Fund, which was exempted under IT and got around Rs.63,000/- in FY 2014-15. Please guide me which ITR Form Should I use. The Company deducted IT on my Settlement and given Form 16 for this purpose. Please guide me which ITR Form should I use
Dear George Mathew Sir,
You can file your return using ITR -2 based on information provided there is no income from business and profession and you are not partner in any partnership firm…
Dear sir
You filed ITR -1 because, Interest received from Bank deposit and dividend from share is considered as income form other sourcese.if you have getting any other income from vacant land this also taxable as income form other sources.
Sir
U can file ITR 1 Sugam assuming that income from shares represent dividends only nd there is no short term capital gain. There is no income from House Property coz one house is self occupied nd other is vacant land.
Sir,
Kindly explain the income from shares. You have to file ITR-2.
