How to apply ZED Certification for EXPORTERS

ZED Certifications is issued by the Ministry of MSME, GOVT of india. The purpose of issuing the said scheme to help to reduce the wastages, increase productivity, saver energy. This scheme focuses on increase the   manufacturing culture and productivity. ZED Certification works like ISO standard it means it’s India ISO standard, its ensures quality and performance  of the product.

  • Photos of products
  • Nate of entrepreneur/businessman
  • Social category
  • Special category
  • Name of business/enterprise
  • Date of commencement of business/enterprise
  • Registration Number
  • Contact information
  • NIC (National Industry Classification) Code
  • Category of the unit as per CPC (Central Pollution Control)
  • Persons employed
  • Shop floor
  • Fire Safety Systems
  • Product Labelling
  • Product Description
  • Type of MSME
  • Supplier to Defence
  • Undertaking

Process for Obtaining ZED Certification

1. That the applicant has MSME Certificate after that applicant is eligible to apply the ZED Certification, then applicant will take in ZED Certification.

2. The applicant can apply in three categories first Bronze, Second is Silver and third is the Gold

3. Then applicant will file the application on the website https://zed.msme.gov.in/ it is official website for apply ZED Certification and fill the required information in the application form and attach the required documentation.

4. Following documents required to be attached in the application

  • Aadhar
  • Email
  • PAN
  • UDYAM Certificate
  • GST
  • BANK Details

5. The department after verify the application form if no discrepancy not found in the application and all the information in the application is correct in all respect then Department will issue a certificate for the same. It generally takes 4-5 days to get the approval.

Government subsidy for the ZED Certification

The MSME Department is provide  following  subsidy on the ZED Certification if any applicant takes the ZED Certification

1, Micro enterprises: 80%

2. Small Enterprises: 60%

3. Medium Enterprises: 50%

Additional Subsidy:

1. There will be an additional subsidy of 10% for the MSMEs owned by Women/SC/ST Entrepreneurs OR MSMEs in NER/Himalayan/LWE/Island territories/aspirational districts.

2. In addition to above, there will be an additional subsidy of 5% for MSMEs which are also a part of the SFURTI OR Micro & Small Enterprises – Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) of the Ministry.
