In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Served From India Scheme of Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time.
The vehicles imported under this scheme shall be registered either as a tourist vehicle or shall have an appropriate registration specific to a particular state enabling the vehicle to be used for tourist purpose. A copy of the Registration certificate should be submitted to the concerned Licensing Authority as a confirmation of the vehicle having been imported and capital good installed.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule-I of the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2004-09.

Attention is invited to Notification No. 4(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 4.5.2006 by which Condition No 18 of Chapter 1A of the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and import items, 2004-09 as notified vide Notification No.2(RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 7.4.2006 was kept in abeyance. It is hereby clarified that in case of imports where Bill of Lading is 6th July.
Imports of Goat Skins, Sheep Skins and Yak Tails, Goats, Sheep, Yak Hair and Horses will be subject to the provisions of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Imports and exports will be subject to any other law for the time being in force.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies Appendix 37C, in the annexure attached with this public notice, giving the list of countries that qualify for benefits under Focus Market Scheme in terms of Para 3.9 of the Foreign Trade Policy.
