Exporters are requested to submit copies of ICLCs opened before 14.09.2020 (ICLC dated 13.09.2020 or before that) for export of Onions to their Jurisdictional DGFT Regional Authority (RA) by 7th October, 2020.
No new authorizations mentioning Non-standard units such as BoU, packs, Boxes cartons and bottles etc would be issued by RAs. For this necessary changes are being carried out in the DGFT EDI system also.
Henceforth, validity period of SCOMET export authorizations for transfer of technology/software under any category of SCOMET shall be twenty four months only or validity period of export authorization allowed in terms of Para 2.16 of HBP of FTP 2015-20. No subsequent revalidation in such authorizations shall be permissible.

Due to technical/server issues, the ECOM facility for online application on the DGFT website was not available from 7.00 PM on 02.08.2020 to 4.00 PM on 08.2020. It is informed that w.e.f. 01.08.2020, the CoO applications for exports from India to Thailand under ASEAN-India FTA should be submitted through the e-COO Platform by the exporters to the designated issuing agencies i.e. EIA, MPEDA and Textile Committee.

There is no need to send any hard copy of the application via mail or post.

Export of only 20 Lakh units of Medical Goggles per month will be allowed for the month of August and September. II. Exporters (Both Manufacturers and Merchant exporters) may apply online through DGFT’s ECOM system for Export authorizations (Non-SCOMET Restricted items) — Please refer Trade Notice No. 50 dated 18. 03.2019. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application via mail or post.

The procedure for issuance of export license for sending: samples of PPE Medical Coveralls for COVID-19 is outlined below: I. Export of quantity up to 50 units of ‘PPE medical coveralls for Covid-19’ samples per IEC per country will be allowed.
