Sub: Window for uploading the correct pendency as well as disposal by CIT(A) in ITBA-reg
Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 05.04.2017 and 17.04.2017
Kindly refer to the above mentioned subject.
2. The undersigned is directed to state that vide Board’s letters under reference a deadline of 21.04.2016 was given to upload the correct pendency of appeals as well as disposal of appeals as on 31.03.2017. In view of the fact that CIT(A) are now expediting the work of uploading the disposal and removal of the duplicate appeals on ITBA and also the fact that as on date around 24,000 appeals are yet to be uploaded on ITBA, a further time till 30.04.2017 is allowed for the same with a view to stabilize the CIT(A) module on ITBA.
3. Hence the CIT(A) who have yet to upload the disposal for FY 2016-17 on ITBA module or to remove the duplicate appeals may be directed to do so immediately and latest by 30.04.2017. This may be treated as MOST URGENT.
