We, on behalf of Sales Tax Bar Association express our deep sense of gratitude for your kind support and guidance on several previous occasions and also express our appreciation for your efforts in ease of doing business. We would, here like to draw your kind attention, that Returns & Audit reports under the Income Tax Act are due for filing by 31st October 2019.

The business community on the whole have remained very busy during the entire month of October 2019 starting from Dusshera, on 8th October, to Diwali on 28th October

The business community on the whole have remained very busy during the entire month of October 2019 starting from Dusshera, on 8th October, to Diwali on 28th October 2019, followed by Bhaiya dooj. Immediately thereafter the working staff goes to their home towns to be with their families on this auspicious occasion.

Under these circumstances, it has not been possible for them to furnish requisite accounting details and statements to their counsels, being members of our association, enabling them to complete the audit & file their returns. In addition to these returns, TDS returns under Income Tax Act & GSTR 1 returns under Goods and Services Tax Act are also due for filing on the 31st October 2019.

All these returns, falling due on the same date i.e. 31st October 2019. Inspite of best efforts, the business community & their counsels, cannot possibly file these returns by 31st October 2019. It is causing great difficulty to all of them.

Under these circumstances, it is humbly requested that the due date for filing of the returns as aforementioned may kindly be extended by a fortnight i.e. by 15th November 2019.

Hope to receive your immediate attention and magnanimous consideration.

With Kind regards

Yours sincerely,

[Suresh Agrawal]
Secretary

Sir please extend the due date up to 15th November 2019. Since it is not possible for the many tax consultant to complete audit due to the festival deepawaii as the staff persons goes on to holiday dated from 27.09.2019 and came back only today only and therefore just two days time is enough to complete such ample work

More and much more request to further extend is return from CBDT ear. Due to sound proof room, feelings are not allowed before CBDT. Don’t more request. A little and small accountant who is in poor city or village not to work more and more as small scale and earn 2Rupees more. But time is lost. His work is lost. But CBDT not allowed to request of those poor accountants.

In view of the long festive season of Dusherra, Diwali and other festivals in the month of October,2019, the whole business fraternity were engaged in celebration therefore, could not spare sufficient time for annual audit and I.T. Returns & were remained engaged with other filing of regular returns of GST, in October 2019,etc. Now, besides TAR, ITR, the professional can not complete the quality work with TDS & GST returns on 31/10/2019 after long holidays of Bhiya Duj. Now in only 2 working days filing of I.T, TDS & GST are the most tedious and exert more pressure on professionals who were engaged whole year without their social life and are also helping hand in generation of the Revenue in the critical economy of the Nation. Kindly think of them and humbly request the FM & The Member of CBDT to extend the date for only 15 days upto 15th November,2019. Revenue will increase overall by extending the TAR & IT dates.
