After applying TAN online using DSC, an acknowledgment for TAN application would be generated. The acknowledgment must be duly signed and sent to the address of NSDL as mentioned in the acknowledgment within 15 days of applying online. Within 7-10 working days TAN would be allotted and TAN allotment letter would be dispatched to the address mentioned in the application.
