Notification No. 83/2011 – Customs (N.T.),

New Delhi, dated the 29th November, 2011.

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, Hyderabad II Commissionerate, Hyderabad, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-

i. the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Port Area, Visakhapatnam; and

ii. the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, Hyderabad II Commissionerate, Hyderabad, for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s Rajasthan Glass House, 5-3-496/1, Topkhana Road, Opp. Osmangunj, Hyderabad-500 012 and M/s Bhandari Glass Company, 5-3-496/1, Topkhana Road, Opp. Osmangunj, Hyderabad-500 012 issued vide, F.No. VIII/26/19/2008-HRU dated the 24th August, 2011 by the Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Hyderabad Regional Unit, Hyderabad.
