The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has established three new branches of its Central India Regional Council in Rajasthan, effective July 1, 2025. The notifications, dated July 23, 2025, announce the formation of the Nagaur District Branch, the Churu District Branch, and the Jhunjhunu District Branch. Each new branch is headquartered in its respective district’s main city and its jurisdiction covers the entire district, including several specified towns. Established under Regulation 159 (1A) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, these branches will operate under the direct control and supervision of the ICAI Council through the Central India Regional Council.

No. 1-CA (7)/231/2025— In pursuance of the Regulation 159 (1A) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to notify the setting up of a Branch of Central India Regional Council in Nagaur District (Rajasthan) with effect from July 01, 2025.
The Branch shall be known as Nagaur District Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be at Nagaur. The Jurisdiction of the Branch besides the following places shall cover whole District of Nagaur: –

2. Mundwa
3. Khinvsar
4. Merta
5. Riyan Badi
6. Degana
7. Jayal
8. Sanju
As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and direction of the Council through Central India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council.
