Attention of all the Importers, Customs Brokers, other stake holders and members of the trade is invited to Public Notice No. 31/2018 dated 29.12.2017, issued by JNCH, wherein it was made obligatory to upload the supporting documents through e-SANCHIT facility for all the bills of entry filed in JNCH w.e.f. 15.03.2018.
As per the prevailing provisions, the importer who intends to avail DPD facility shall have to submit duly filled in registration form along with certain prescribed documents to get themselves registered with the Port Terminals.
It is being reiterated that DPD importers are required to send one time default intimation to csla@bombaychamber.com endorsing a copy to DPD Cell at dpd.amijnch@gmail.com.

Import policy for Second Hand Goods imported for the purpose of repair / refurbishing / re – conditioning or re – engineering is laid down.
No Duty Free Import Authorisation shall be issued for an input which is subjected to pre-import condition or where SION prescribes ‘Actual User’ condition or Appendix-4J prescribes pre import condition for such an input. However, this restriction is not applicable for ‘Raw Sugar’ on exports made till 30.9.2018.
Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Conditions of apples under Exim code 0808 10 00 of Chapter 08 of ITC (HS), 2017 — Schedule — 1 (Import Policy) as under: Port restriction for import of apples covered under EXIM Code 0808 10 00 is hereby removed.
