2. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of the following officers for promotion to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix, for the panel years 2020 (Supplementary Panel) and 2021 (Regular Panel) w.e.f the date of assumption of the charge of the post, and until further orders:

3. The ACC has also approved the recommendations of the DPC to keep the cases in respect of Shri Atul Gupta-II and Shri Rajiv Ranjan in ‘sealed covers’ for the panel year 2021 and promotion of 02 junior-most officers in the panel on ad hoc basis till the sealed cover cases pending against them are finalized or regular vacancies arise in the grade, whichever is earlier
