Public Notice No. 32 (RE-2005)/2004-09, dated 26th July 2005, announces amendments, corrections, and additions to the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 2, for the 2004-2009 period. These changes include the addition of new entries for chemicals and allied products, particularly in relation to chlorine quantities for certain export items. Specific corrections are made to quantities of export and import items, such as the correction to “up to 10 ml” for a chemical export item. New import entries related to chlorine, with detailed quantities, are also introduced for various chemical products. Additionally, the notice includes amendments to export items such as chandeliers and wall lights, specifying the net-to-net quantities of components like lamp holders, cables, and brass wire. These changes aim to refine and clarify the guidelines for the export-import process under the Foreign Trade Policy.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/deletions/corrections and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended.
2. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, (Vol.2) 2004-2009, as amended, amendments/ corrections/ deletion at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure “A” to this Public Notice are made.
3 In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-

After the existing entry at Sr.No.A-3552, new entries at Sr. No. A-3553 to A-3561 are added as per Annexure “B” to this Public Notice.
