Notification No. 16 (RE-2005)/2004-09, dated 26th July 2005, amends the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items for the 2004-09 period under the Foreign Trade Policy. The amendment concerns the import policy for certain items. Specifically, the import policy for “Other” (Exim Code 12099190) and “Fruit seeds for planting or sowing” (Exim Code 12099910) has been updated to a “Free” policy, meaning they are now allowed for import without restrictions. However, both items are subject to conditions outlined in Licensing Note (4). This change aims to provide clarity on the import conditions of these items under the current Foreign Trade Policy.
