In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II-Section 3 – Sub- section (ii) vide S.O.No.283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Handbook (Vol.1). (RE-00), 1997-2002.
1. The following new paragraph shall be added after paragraph 4.37:-
Issuance of duplicate Green Card | 4.38 | In such cases where a Green Card is lost or misplaced , the issuing authority may consider requests for grant of a duplicate copy of Green Card , on the basis of an affidavit from the Green Card holder. |
2. The following new paragraph shall be added after paragraph 6.19:-
Re-fixation of average export obligation | 6.20 | Wherever average level of export obligation was fixed taking into account the exports made to former USSR or to such countries as are notified by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under this paragraph, the average level of exports shall be reduced by excluding exports made to such countries. |
3. The following amendments shall be made in the Appendix– 28A.
