NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, Dated, 14th February, 2001
G.S.R. 96(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by the clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1) of section 642 read with sub-section (3) of section 60A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, namely:-
(1) 1. These rules may be called the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2001;
(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, after rule 4CCC, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:-
“rule 4CCCA – Section 60A – for the purposes of sub-section (3) of section 60A, prescribed time limit for filing information memorandum between the first offer of securities, previous offer of securities and the succeeding offer of securities shall be three months.”
