All returns due for the period from the date of the order of cancellation of registration till the date of the order of revocation of cancellation of registration shall be furnished by the said person within a period of thirty days from the date of order of revocation of cancellation of registration:
GSTR 9C is the reconciliation statement prescribed for registered tax payer to whom the GST Audit is applicable. It is not required to be filed by such registered person whose aggregate turnover during a financial year is less than two crore rupees including all mentioned in the table for GSTR 9.
Section 44 of CGST Act mandates every registered person, except the following, to furnish an annual return for every FY electronically in Form GSTR-9 on or before 31 December following the end of Financial Year.

Who needs to file Form GSTR-9A ?All taxpayers registered under the composition scheme under GST, for any period during the financial year, need to file Form GSTR-9A.This will include a taxpayer- Who have opted for composition scheme since registration and have never opted out subsequently; and- Who have opted in for composition scheme any time during the financial year; and- Who have opted in for composition scheme but subsequently opted out any time during the said financial year.
The main intention of removal of difficulties (ROD) order no. 02/2018 was to facilitate all the registered persons providing additional opportunity to rectify the errors or omissions of the financial year 2017-18 including availment of the GST input tax credit which was not availed within the due date i.e. September 2018.
Within a few months of the GST implementation there was a flood of amendment notifications and one of them concerns GST Audit and GST Returns. The last date of filing of GSTR 9 i.e. the Annual Return has been revised and finalized as 30th June 2019 i.e. return for the period July 2017- March 2018 is 30th June 2019. Prior this the return was required to be filed by 31st Dec 2018 which was extended to 30th June 2019 during 31st GST Council Meeting held on 22nd Dec 2018.
