  1. Gopathy Padmanabhan says:

This is the typical style of functioning of Govt. Depts. The department has prescribed that the return has to be filed electronically for which the Return has to be released by the dept only. Then what was the need to release the circular, PDF, due date etc., in haste. In what way did it help anyone? They could have as well done the home work neatly and released the excel format with a firm due date, instead of playing hide and seek. Now they found it convenient to fix 15th April 2013 as the due date when most of the CAs will be busy with the Bank Audit. Even now the electronic version is not ready. Only after its release, we will know how much we have to struggle with the same. Again what is the sanctity about 15th April 2013? Why not it be 25th April 2013, being the due date for October 2012 _March 2013 half year? Will there be another version for the half year, this being the quarterly return? God save my country!
