Cessation of “Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC” as a banking company within the meaning of sub section (2) of Section 36 A of Banking Regulation Act, 1949
It is advised that the “Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC” has ceased to be a banking company within the meaning of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 vide Notification DoR.LIC.No.S7539/23.13.021/2022-23 dated February 23, 2023, which is published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Section 4) dated March 25 – March 31, 2023.

Exclusion of “Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC” from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934
It is advised that the “Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC” has been excluded from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification DoR.LIC.No. S7540/23.13.021/2022-23 dated February 23, 2023, which is published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Section 4) dated March 25 – March 31, 2023.
