There are the different category of taxpayer viz. Individual, HUF, Firm, LLP, Company, Trust and AOP/BOI. Due Date is different according to audit or non-audit case of such categories as defined in section 139(1)
Last Date of Filing Income Tax Return for AY 2018-19 (Non-Audit Cases)
- Due date of filing the Income Tax Return by Assesse whose Books of Account are not required to be audited is 31st July 2018.
Filing Income Tax Audit Return Due Date for AY 2018-19 (Audit Cases)
Due date of filing the Income Tax Return by Assesse is 30th September 2018.
- A Company
- A Person (Other Than a Company) whose accounts are required to be audited under this Act or under any other law for the time being in force, or
- A working partner of a firm whose accounts are required to be audited under this act or under any law for the time being in force
Filing ITR Due Date for AY 2018-19 (Assessee who are required to furnish report under sec 92E)
- Due date of filing the Income Tax Return by Assesse who are required to furnish report under sec 92E is 30th November 2018.
