Public Notice No. 11/2002-07, dated 2nd May 2002, issued by the Ministry of Commerce, makes several amendments to the “Schedule of DEPB Rates” under the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07. Notable corrections include updates to the DEPB rates for various chemicals such as Diloxanide Furoate, Erythromycin, and Niacin, among others, with specific value caps for certain products. The entry for “Megaginina” in the Chemicals Product Group is corrected to “Melaginina.” Additionally, changes are made in the Plastic Product Group, with an update to the DEPB rate for Polyester Film and the deletion of entries for certain chemicals (SR. No. 88, 169, 270, and 273). New entries are added to the Chemicals Product Group, including Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid and Reactive Purple H3R, with assigned DEPB rates. In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07 and paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following corrections/amendments/additions in the “Schedule of DEPB Rates” as under:-
